Ralph Ehlers has accepted the role of Vice President, Rail and Transit with SNC-Lavalin.

Alexander Rutka, a recipient of a special award of merit for long service from TAC in 1984, has died. Even after his retirement in 1983, Alexander continued to do consulting work and stay actively involved in organizations such as the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and TAC (known as the Roads and Transportation Association of Canada at the time). Read the obituary.

Kevan Correia, who was President of Tacel Ltd. for thirty-seven years has retired. Gil Marques has assumed the role of President.

Sany Zein has left Jacobs for the BC Rapid Transit Company where he's assumed the roles of President and General Manager. Read the article.

Alberta’s Premier has announced her new cabinet and Devin Dreeshen was named Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors on October 24, 2022. He previously served as Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.

Alcide Richard is now Director of Facilities with the City of Moncton and is replaced as Chief Engineer at TAC by the City’s new Director of Engineering René Lagacé.

Transports Québec has changed its official department name following the recent provincial election. It is now le ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable du Québec and Ms. Geneviève Guilbault who, in addition to her role as Deputy Premier, was appointed as Minister.

In early November Transportation and Infrastructure Minister, Doyle Piwniuk announced the Manitoba government, with the support of the Eden family, is establishing a $60,000 memorial scholarship fund at the University of Manitoba in memory of Ruth Eden to support females studying civil engineering.
